Started "GetFitWithWit"

What began as "GetFitWithWit" during the challenging days of 2020 has evolved into something far greater. Founder Marty Wituszynski started by coaching Indiana University professors through the pandemic.

2020 - 2023

Expanded Impact

That quickly expanded to online coaching for family and friends. Marty found this passion of training, began working at different gyms like LA fitness and Anytime Fitness, as a personal trainer - but within a span of months, found himself in a director of training position.

2023 - 2024

At Home Training

At this point, Marty has worked with hundreds of athletes and understands what someone needs to progress. He took his passion for athletic development directly to clients' homes, helping them build personal training spaces and equipment setups that would drive real results

2024 - 2025

Launched Athlete HQ

Then, on October 7th, 2024, Athlete HQ was born, a dedicated facility where potential transforms into performance. With years of trial, experience, and results - our doors officially opened on March 1st, 2025 in Arcadia, Indiana.

More Than a Coach: Marty's Journey

Marty has personally coached over 300 athletes and over 115 adults, bringing the unique perspective of someone who's been on both sides of the training equation.

Broke his back in high school,

then defied expectations by playing college football just three years later

Fought back from a career ending knee injury,

that doctors said would require surgery just to walk normally again, and instead - became a collegiate athlete

Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University,

which built the scientific foundation for his training methods, then backed it by proven data with his athletes

What makes Athlete HQ different from other training facilities?

Unlike most training facilities that focus solely on physical metrics (how fast, how strong, how agile), we develop complete athletes – mentally, emotionally, and physically prepared for success in sports and in life. Our founder, Marty Wituszynski, brings personal experience overcoming serious athletic injuries, combined with a kinesiology degree from IU and 8 years of professional coaching experience with over 300 athletes.

How often should I train to see results?

While all our programs give you access to multiple training sessions per week, we recommend attending at least 3-4 sessions weekly for optimal results. Consistency is key to athletic development. Most athletes notice improvements in both performance and confidence within the first 3-4 weeks, with measurable improvements across multiple performance metrics by the end of their first 8-week cycle.

How are training groups determined?

At Athlete HQ, we organize our training sessions based on both age and training format to ensure optimal development:

BASIC Package (Group Training) : Ages 10-13: Sessions run from 2-4PM. Ages 14-18: Sessions run from 4-5PM. Maximum 10 athletes per coach to ensure quality instruction.

PREMIUM Package (Semi-Private Training): Small group format with a maximum of 4 athletes. Sessions run from 5-6PM daily. Personalized attention with a 1:4 coach-to-athlete ratio.

VIP Package (One-on-One Training): Completely individualized sessions with dedicated coaching. Available time slots at 6-7PM, 7-8PM, and 8-9PM. Ultimate flexibility and customization for your specific needs.

This structured approach ensures you train with peers at similar developmental stages while receiving the appropriate level of coaching attention based on your selected package.

Who is Athlete HQ designed for?

Athlete HQ serves athletes aged 10-18, college prospects, professional athletes, and adults committed to peak performance. We work with athletes from all sports looking to improve their strength, speed, agility, and mental performance. Our programs are particularly beneficial for athletes looking to reach the next competitive level, earn more playing time, or prepare for college recruitment.

What's included in each training package?

We offer three comprehensive packages:

BASIC ($19.95/session): 5 group training sessions per week, basic nutrition advice, injury prevention coaching, and email support.
PREMIUM ($29.95/session): 3 semi-private training sessions plus 2 group sessions weekly, customized nutrition planning, weekly evaluations, and email/text support.
VIP ($42.50/session): 2 private one-on-one sessions plus 3 group sessions weekly, comprehensive nutrition coaching, weekly private assessments, and direct phone/text/email support.

All packages include discounts for quarterly (10%) or annual (15%) commitments.

Do you offer a trial or assessment before joining?

Yes! We offer a complimentary 30-minute Performance Assessment for all prospective athletes. During this session, our performance specialists will evaluate your current athletic abilities, discuss your goals, identify your strengths and weaknesses, and recommend the optimal package for your situation. This no-pressure session gives you a chance to experience our facility and methodology before making any commitment.

Do you offer family or group discounts?
